Banbury and Evesham Quakers invite you to the Adderbury Gathering, our annual public talk, at the Adderbury Quaker Meeting House, at 3pm on Sunday 16th June. Followed by afternoon tea. All welcome - no charge.
This year's talk is on "Living our faith - a Quaker perspective". Quakers are known for relief work, for their pacifist stance and for their concern about social issues. What has led them to this and what other examples are there of 'Quaker testimonies'?
The speaker is Jocelyn Burnell, widely known both as as a Quaker and a Professor of Astrophysics.
And how about a day out? We are organising a walk from Banbury to Adderbury on time for the walk. And back too if you're keen.
